Golf Course Architect Lester George is an established leader in the field, having completed more than 120 projects. He is a member and past Board of Governors member of the esteemed American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA). 

New courses Lester has designed include the much-heralded Kinloch Golf Club (private), Ballyhack Golf Club (private), and Rock Manor Golf Course (public). PGA tour sites, historical, and resort courses lead our list of renovation clients – like prominent projects include The Old White Course at The Greenbrier (resort), Independence Golf Club (public), and The Country Club of Florida (private). In addition to full-length championship golf courses, Lester has become the go-to architect for short courses and practice facilities – either brand new or retrofitted into existing properties. He has traveled around the country to many Golf Range Association of America boot camps to teach Golf Course Professionals how to incorporate practice into their existing facilities by repurposing land. George Golf Design has designed several short courses for The First Tee, and his practice facility at Kinloch Golf Club has been hailed as a model for the industry.
